Our Location

PLACOBPA is located in Plateau State, the twelfth largest state in Nigeria.

Situated in the North-central region of Nigeria, the state, which capital is Jos, is bordered to the north by Kaduna and Bauchi States, to the south by Benue State, to the east by Taraba State and to the west by Nasarawa State.

With an area of 30,913 square kilometres, the state has an estimated population of about four million people. The state is named after the picturesque Jos Plateau, a mountainous area in the north of the state with captivating rock formations.

Indigenous tribes/languages in the state include: Berom, Ngas, Mwaghavul, Mupun, Taroh, Anaguta, Afezere, Ron-Kulere, Mwagavul, Gemai, Amo, Buji, Rukuba, Dumak, Kwala, etc.

The state is renowned for its vast agricultural produce and tourist sites.
